Neuropsychology
Prospective neuropsychiatric and neuropsychological investigation of selected patients will be conducted from both the retrospective and prospective studies.
Testing will occur at a single time point in the retrospective study to allow assessment of longer term damage.
In the prospective cohort, testing will occur at 18 months after illness onset and these patients will be followed up in the 2nd and 3rd year of the prospective study.
